Managing Multiple Medications
In medicine we call it Polypharmacy - we do that because ew like to use big words as it makes us feel superior (sheesh) - but its so common these days for people as they get older to be on multiple medications . Most doctors and Pharmacists agree that it is optimal to have people on the least number of different medications as possible but how do you remember to take 2 blue in the morning a pink capsule and a yellow tablet at lunch time and a diamond shaped white one at night ....especially when you are having trouble even remembering where you left your glasses !
We'll be talking to Heather Lyall from the Pharmacy Guild of Australia about managing medications.
